The research purpose was to provide a forum to hear the children’s voice, and then investigate the uses and appropriations they give to cultural products, while exchanging experiences with their family, peers and the media. The interviews took place in the children’s home, since the reflection focused on the everyday practices and relationships with their families. The interviews in the children’s home facilitate the access to their private world, toys and to observe how they occupy space in home.
